The Gold Standard Chorus

Entertaining in 4-part Harmony

- Coming Soon -

Saturday
May 3rd, 2008

The Gold Standard Chorus Cabaret Show.

Felton Community Hall - 6191 Highway 9 - from 6 - 9 PM

Organized in October, 1989 (shortly after the big earthquake), the chorus has had many local performances and participated in District competitions. We've sung along the route at a few Wharf-to-Wharf races, Scotts Valley's Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies, various residential facilities, do annual Valengrams (singing Valentines) presentations, an annual concert, and just have a good time singing.

Mixed Voice Clarification: The Barbershop Harmony Society is a national and international men's singing society, a "male voices only" organization. We're a chapter within the Barbershop Harmony Society (formerly the "Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Singing in America, Inc.") and attend annual conventions/competitions with other chapters. The Santa Cruz area of California has long been known for doing things a bit differently. See our "Mixed Voice Clarification" page to see what makes the Gold Standard Chorus unique.
