On Aug 14 the chorus camped at New Brighton State Beach, performed at the evening campfire show, and had a great time doing it. Here are two chapter quartets (Vocal Gentry and Mixed Bag) at the show:

This is a quartet that sounds VERY much like the Sons of the Pioneers from 50 years ago… strong overtones of barbershop harmony, singing songs of the west, with a heavy dose of humor.
Their stage presence is outstanding… this could be a seminar for barbershop quartets on how to do it! And they manage to hold down the stage for nearly two hours… goes by fast… and still leave the audience clamoring for more! Including favorites like Tumbling Tumbleweeds, and of course they sing Ghost Riders in the Sky!
Performing at the Heritage Theatre, Campbell
Tickets $23.70 to $31.70 in advance, $5 more at the door
